This season's skate with the Evergreens night will be Jan - 31 from 5:00 - 5:30 pm at the Greenheck Fieldhouse.

Everest Youth Hockey players will skate with the High School players, team posters will be given out, and a group photo taken.
 

The Board recognizes, in the rare instance, that a player may benefit from "playing up" a level.  This past summer the Hockey Operations Committee drafted, presented to the Board and the Board subsequently approved a Move Up policy for EYH.  This policy is in effect immdiately and is for all skaters wishing to Move Up a level. Please review the policy located in the documents section of this website.  If you wish for your skater to be considered for moving up the move up petition is also located in the documents section.

Everyone -

The Hockey Operations Committee could use your help in shaping the direction of EYH.  Individuals are needed, with varying levels of Hockey knowledge, to assist in:

The Tryout Process where you will assist in developing and organizing the tryout process in mid October.  Time requirements will center around the mid September timeframe through the tryout process.

Coach Selection where your help is needed in areas such as  assisting in recruiting coaches, assisting in the selcction process of coaches, coordinating background checks, coordinating coaching education requirements

The Coach Development sub-committee needs assistance once coaches are selected.  in this committee you will help out in developing practice strategies for the year, assit in coaching clinics, working with the coaching staff throughout the season and evaluating coaches at season end.  These individuals, it is envisioned, have a deeper hockey knowledge background.

Player Development.  Here again, individuals with deeper hockey skills are needed to shape the players of the future.   Individuals on this committee will have a passion for developing youth and being able to communicate to all levels of skaters

Communications Coordinator.  Individuals that help out here will work closely with USA hockey as well as the Hockey Operations Committee in providing educational materials that can be translated into both player and coaches development. These individuals will work closely with all members of the HOC.   In addition, these individuals will have a very important role in serving as a liason to the membership providing materials and insights as to what the membership is seeing on the ice during games and practices.
