Learn Hockey with Everest Youth Hockey


Everest Youth Hockey’s Mini Mite program is a fantastic opportunity for your son or daughter to try hockey.  Mini Mites is tailored to the needs of new skaters and is a wonderful introduction to this exciting sport. No skating experience is necessary!
WHAT:               Mini  Mites: Ages 4-8 year olds (6 to 8 year olds with no skating experience)
WHERE:              Practices held at Greenheck Fieldhouse Ice Rink.
WHEN:               Sunday late afternoon and Wednesday evening practices from November through the first week of March.
COST:                FREE for first year skaters (No EYH fee). ALL Skaters are required to register with USA Hockey. USA Registration is free for skaters under the age of 6 and $50.00 for skaters over the age of 6. EYH will reimburse USA hockey registration to families desiring repayment.   
EQUIPMENT:       Purchase your own stick and skates. EYH will provide rental equipment for $25.00 for the season. Equipment handout will be held early November.  See below for date, time and location.
SEASON:            The season will focus on the basics of skating and progress to basic hockey introduction in February.  Our goal is for skaters to become comfortable on their skates, be excited about hockey and have fun!

2019-20 Mini Mite Equipment Handout

Equipment Handout & Parent Meetings will be on Sunday October 27th. There will be two sessions available that day to get your skaters set up with gear, meet the coaching staff, and also allow your kids some ice time to try our their new equipment. As a reminder there is a $25 fee payable to EYH for rental equipment. 


Equipment  handout times are: 

Session 1:
   Sunday October 27th
   10:00AM - Equipment Handout/Fitting
   10:30AM - Parent Meeting
   11:00AM - Open Ice 

Session 2: 
   Sunday October 27th
   2:00PM - Equipment Handout/Fitting
   2:30PM - Parent Meeting
   3:00PM - Open Ice
